Blackstone Earthworks provides residential, commercial, and rural earthworks services, including excavation, site preparation, drainage, levelling, driveway excavation, soil removal, and custom projects. All services will be delivered in accordance with the scope agreed upon between the client and Blackstone Earthworks.
2. Quotes & Pricing
- All quotes are free and provided with no obligation.
- Quotes are valid for 30 days from the issue date unless otherwise specified.
- Any changes to project requirements after acceptance may result in additional charges.
- Prices exclude GST unless otherwise stated.
3. Payments
- Invoices are issued as per the agreement before work begins.
- Payment terms will be clearly stated on the invoice (e.g., 7 or 14 days from the invoice date).
- Late payments may incur additional fees.
4. Project Timelines
- We strive to complete all projects on time.
- Timelines may be affected by weather conditions, site access, or unforeseen ground conditions.
- Blackstone Earthworks will communicate any delays promptly.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate site information before work begins.
- Ensuring access to the site during agreed working hours.
- Securing necessary consents, permits, or council approvals unless otherwise arranged.
6. Liability
- While we take care to avoid damage, Blackstone Earthworks is not liable for pre-existing issues on the property.
- Clients must disclose underground services (pipes, cables, etc.) before excavation begins.
- Blackstone Earthworks will not be held responsible for delays or damages caused by inaccurate or incomplete site information.
7. Equipment & Safety
- All machinery and equipment remain the property of Blackstone Earthworks.
- Our operators follow strict safety procedures in line with New Zealand health and safety regulations.
8. Cancellations
- Cancellations must be made in writing at least 48 hours before the scheduled start date.
- Costs may apply for cancellations made after mobilisation of equipment or staff.
9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be handled under New Zealand jurisdiction.
